In my Home:
I have the 65" Mitsubishi HD Widescreen WS-65315 as my TV. Me and my wife decided that on our first wedding anniversary we would go out and buy a big screen for ourselves. (Gotta love a wife that wants a Big Screen for her Anniversary!)
We shopped around finding which one we wanted then where to buy from. Finally, we decided on the place and since this was a big purchase we decided to check out the Clearance area of the store we had decided on. In the Clearance Scratch & Dent department they happened to have that very model we wanted. I started to haggle with the salesman. During the bargaining he called one of their other stores and Viola! he said found a brand new one that was last years model for the same price as the Scratch and Dent! Well, it had all the same features as this years model so, what the hell, lets get the new one! We paid around $1600 for it not including the service plan we also bought. When it was delivered and set up, I started searching on the web about it and come to find out it was not last years model. It was actually the current years model which was selling for $2200. Talk
about lucky! This TV is actually great for the money, and even at the original cost. The picture is amazing especially in HD or DVD. It has everything you could want in a television. The only thing about it that can become a problem is the size of it since it is not a flat panel TV like plasma, DLP or LCD.
I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great High Defenition Widescreen Big Screen television for a great price. As I have stated before, I am a Sony guy. I have always preferred Sony electronics to others but that was a biased opinion and I would suggest someone trying another brand that you may not normally buy. You might be surprised like I was.
